Review of In the Cut (2003) by Marta I — 23 Jul 2008
Dark, sinister, and almost disturbing to see "americas sweetheart" naked on screen. Campion had captured erotic romance in The Piano and I felt the heart, beauty of desire and want and of course lust and love but this film was urban waste setting with undesireable charectors.
Ruffalo who I love BTW was so sleazy here but did not manage to reddeem himself by the end of the film. Kudos to Ryan for a daring film but the film did not deliever.
