Review of In the Company of Men (1997) by Codie E — 23 Mar 2009
Absolutely brutal. LaBute gets the most out of the premise by staying as frank as possible, never feeling the need to apologise for his protagonists, realising that the film would be more successful if we never have to sympathise with the 'men'.
What is left is a fascinating social observation performed brilliantly.
