Review of In the Company of Men (1995) by Peter L — 18 Oct 2009
A deeply disturbing, and shockingly powerful film, from one of the greatest playwrights of today. As cliche as it may be, this is a film that makes you want to be, nay, need to be a better person. Labute is able to portray people so unbelievably awful, that you can scarsely call them anything but evil.
They certainly have an objective, that is utterly devoid of anything even remotely decent. A very stirring, and very affecting film.
