This movie pretty much madeit out of nowhere. it was a very small film that made a huge impact around awards season. it showed todd field to be a very promising director. tom wilkinson shines in a fine performance along with sissy spacek, marrisa tomei and nick stahl.
the final moments of the film are very powerful.
