For fans of Terence Malick's canon of films - gorgeously wrought character studies that are beatifically serene in technicolor yet still suffer from agonizingly slow plotting served in minimal doses.
Personally, I think the film does a fantastic job of delving into the lives of the impeccable Wilkonson and Spacek, but I won't lie, the glacial pace did start to give me the phantom itches... (that condition where you kind of feel like you want to start shouting at the screen to "hurry up and f*&%ing do something!" before you realize you're just an impatient Gen-Something-er with a very limited attention span.
