The acting is what makes this a great movie. We've seen similiar plot lines but there are some unforgettable dramatic scenes in this film. Sissy Spacek is sensational in every role she takes on and Tom Wilkerson puts forth an Oscar-like performance as her husband.
The climax of the film is suspenseful with some poetic justice.
