Review of In the Bedroom (2001) by Maya M — 18 Mar 2007
This is a really good movie where justice is done the old fashioned way. I don't necesarily agree with killing someone, but if the law doesn't work, sometimes one has to take matters into our own hands.
I think that, given the situation, everybody is capable of getting the "job" done. The bad guy, Richard, sadly leaves two sons behind, but in this case I don't think he would have been a good father to them anyway.
And, of course, Marisa Tomei is naturally beautiful and makes this movie much more appealing to me. I rented it because she is in it, and it turned out to be pretty good.
