This was made at the height of Pauly Shore's popularity. This is one of those films that could have been good but failed. Pauly Shore and crew join the army and get more than they expected. This comedy does have a few laughs but just is not funny enough.
Skip this movie and watch the film Stripes. That is a much better comedy about being in the army.
