Review of In Secret (2014) by Georgia F — 07 Sep 2013

Impressive for a first-time director (Charlie Stratten), but not altogether that memorable. Good performances form Elizabeth Olsen and Jessica Lange, with a standout by Oscar Isaac. The script adds in some funny moments of dark humour into a story that could otherwise be melodramatic.

Good cast and good script make for a solid film, although not a must-see. Enjoyable enough, but does not leave much of an impression.
