Probably the strongest NZ drama ever made, outside of Peter Jackson's "Heavenly Creatures", features very strong performances, great cinematography, international stars (who act circles around the mediocre Kiwi cast) and a reasonable plot (though with a lame twist).
Worthy of your time if you're wondering whether New Zealand has ever made a decent drama in its bleak cinematic history.
