Review of In My Father's Den (2004) by Louise B — 04 Dec 2009
Fantastic movie. Beautiful yet disturbing. I studied this movie in my last year of high school and although the movie was a result of obvious film-making genious, it was difficult to watch the movie multiple times due to the emotional side effects.
It is a unique movie in the way that truly touches you, preys on your emotions, and makes you fall in love with the characters, particularly Celia. Other movies fail to achieve such audience involvement.
A classic tragedy.
