Review of In My Country (2004) by Janine S — 09 Jul 2007
Like most social injustices in this world, it somehow loses it's power when it reaches us here in north america. even though it has been years since the time used as the backdrop for this film, the message should never be lost.
this movie showed me how horrible the apartheid really was. I had heard of it's strict segregation of africans and whites, which led to hostility. but I never imagined it was such a crime to humankind.
I thisnk that we should watch this as a form of education, without books and without boundaries. that may be the only answer for the technological age to get the message across.
