Review of In Her Shoes (2005) by Sr. R — 24 Jan 2009
I'm a big Toni Collette fan and, in my opinion, this is her best performance after "Japanese Story" (although "About a Boy" comes close to equalling the performance here)... I think it's Cameron Diaz' best performance to date, and Shirley MacLaine's role is a very quiet, smartly-played one as the grandmother of the two.
A film about sisters, personal evolution, and family.... lovely.
