First of all it was too long and quite slow tempored movie in some parts.
I think that part where Maggie learned to read when he read poems to the old, blind professor in the nursing home and then one morning the man had died was such a cliché. Good cliché not just very surprising. Seems like I've seen this kind of story many times before.
Some funny moments but not so touching story afterall.
