Review of In Good Company (2000) by John K — 11 Dec 2007
Quaid did a great job (maybe even better than Steve Martin *ahem* re: Father of the Bride â?? well as good â?? which is saying a lot) of playing the almost out-of-tune dad whoâ??s constantly astonished about whatâ??s happening to his family around him, but keeping up with it and being good humored about it (like the pregnant wife, the basketball team, etc.
). His daughterâ??s character I think started dating carter a little bit because she was so eager to get sexual. But Johanssen as usual was gorgeous and Topher played a great role; good transition from the â??70s show to expand his reportoire and break-out of getting typecasted.
I probably should have given this 3 or 3.5, but what the hell.
