Review of In Good Company (2000) by Ryan P — 22 Jul 2008
My only real issue with this movie is the ending. It's not the kind of ending that will leave you fully satisfied. However, it is also a bit more realistic in that way. Not everything works out exactly the way you want in real life.
It is good to see the way in which Topher Grace (the promising up-and-comer) works with Dennis Quaid (the established and respected "old timer"). And I mean that both in the story and as actors.
I can't think of any time I have seen Quaid and not just loved him. And here he deals with the fact that the world is changing, but that doesn't mean that he is inconsequential. There is definite value in having been around the block a few times.
