Review of In Darkness (2011) by Rami A — 23 Jun 2012

Adapted from a book, itself based on a true story, "in Darkness" is at the start a little bit too slow, it's crude, rude, disturbing. The explicit sexual scenes were not necessary in my opinion.

This production hasn't censured itself to show the cruelty of the war. This is a film without much artifice that attempts to show true human behaviors (betrayal, love, racism, sense of honor, cruelty, honestly.

..) in a dramatic period. A good movie.
