Review of In Bruges (2008) by Dana F — 16 Nov 2012
I watched this movie despite my hatred of Colin Farrell, and wow am I glad I did. I love movies that cannot be defined (comedy, drama, action, whatnot) and this is one of them. It mixes all the elements perfectly, has a great story that's told well, and is, shockingly, very well acted.
Though Brendan Gleeson stole the show, Farrell is actually respectable in this performance, his best movie to date.
