Review of In Bruges (2008) by Jeremy S — 04 Jul 2013
Pulp Fiction - Pop culture + European charm = In Bruges. Think along the lines of early Guy Ritchie. Its a funny, tragic, and visceral satire with plenty of sharp dialogue. Farrell and Fiennes play a great pair of antihero and antagonist, buts walks away with the show.
With its moments of drama, violence, and comedy, not everything synchronized perfectly and it sometimes felt like it couldn't decide what it wanted to be. Nonetheless, it is definitely worth a view.
