Not quite what I had hoped it would be. Perhaps the high expectations I held were part of where I went wrong. "In Bruges" has some really good elements to it. A lot of it's characeristics were very film noir, such as the city acting as much more than just a location.
The dialogue was indeed witty, but I didn't find myself laughing at anything at all. To me, the movie dragged and just became downright boring at times.
