Review of In Between Days (2007) by Aisha S — 27 Dec 2007
Had a bit of fun picking out the Toronto-isms. an interesting, quiet, yet achingly earnest snapshot of lost souls and their nearly-lived lives. one feels that the future for these characters is as distant and hazy as the omnipresent suburban horizon.
however, the brief, shining moments when they raise above the numbing traffic below (an effective though not so subtle caged overpass), it seems the sky is still not theirs. hopefully, spring will come.
