Review of In & Out (1997) by Trin 7 — 22 Aug 2007
Not a perfect film by any measure but a very funny and in parts, very touching film (the scene in the auditorium gets me all teary eyed every time). But the REAL joy of this film: Joan Cusak. Why isn't this brilliant comedienne given more juicy roles like this one? The scene with her in the wedding dress outside of the bar chasing down cars screaming "Is EVERYBODY gay?" is priceless...
And Brian, the answer is, "Yes, everyone IS gay... if only just a little bit...".
