Review of In America (2003) by Dan D — 11 May 2008
It's sad and moving in a couple scenes, but I was disappointed overall. I remember liking it a lot when I was younger, but it's got weak character development and the dialogue doesn't work a lot of the time.
I was really surprised to find out the screenplay got an Oscar nod. The cast is all around great though, even the two real-life sisters; I just wish they had more to work with.
