Review of In America (2003) by Asif K — 11 Jun 2010
"You have to say goodbye to Frankie Dad." My heart just breaks during this scene...this film has a lot of heart to it. It's about a Irish family moving to America after the death of their young son, and how they adjust to a new place and cope with such an incredible tragedy.
They move into a run down apartment building in Manhatton, and they befriend this man in the apartment below them...It's just an incredible story, very well directed/acted, some incredble moments that will touch your heart, as well as some humorous moments sprinkled in.
The 2 little girls are what make the film! It's a movie you walk away from with a good feeling inside...I highly recommed this drama...I've seen it 3 times already!
