Review of In America (2003) by Eoin H — 17 Feb 2008
A stunning and emotionally powerful film.
You would need a very cold heart to be unmoved by this family and the story of their early life in America.
Fine performances all round particularly from the Bolger sisters. The movie convinces in its 80s set New York. Obviously a very personal project for the director Jim Sheridan, great care was taken with the filmmaking here.
Flawless.
