I was looking forward to seeing this for some time, and I really wish I hadn't waited this long. Competition among voice-over artists is clearly a fresh, interesting angle for a film premise, and I was completely drawn in until it came time to deal with this bizarre film quadrilogy about Amazon women taking the planet back from men.

Really? WTF? Are we supposed to believe that the woman protagonist would lose the voice-over gig to men for a movie that's specifically about women rising up and taking the planet back from men?..

. For me, the whole quadrilogy piece was too poorly handled to be taken seriously, yet not over-the-top enough to be satirical--I consider it a severe flaw in a film that, otherwise, pulls off so much so well.
