Review of In a Lonely Place (1950) by Josh W — 05 Mar 2007
I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. Bogart is incredible (as per usual?) in his role, giving it a complexity that few other actors could possibly manage. I'd have watched it just for that, but the rest of the movie is good as well, and the ending is particularly remarkable, given the era that it was made.
