Review of In a Lonely Place (1950) by Geoff S — 11 Jun 2008
Solid noir psycho-drama. Humphrey Bogart and Gloria Grahame are icons of the genre, and they're both at their best here. Maybe not quite the masterpiece it's been made out to be - the story never really takes off as well as it should, but still a compelling classic.
