Review of In a Lonely Place (1950) by Steve G — 15 Jul 2011
Great story. masterful look into the psychology of someone whom I suppose could be characterized as bi-polar (as opposed to bi-winning).
The only real problems were that her paranoia with Bogey seemed to go into full effect a bit too suddenly. not built-up quite as much as I wouldve ideally liked.
And the whole explanation behind the truth of the murder seems a little inadequate & rushed.
That aside, a great noirish film.
