Review of In a Better World (2010) by Christian S — 01 Nov 2010
Without giving away too much of the film´s content, it describes hate, revenge, guilt, forgiveness, sorrow and disappointment, but also the human need for revenge. It sounds heavy, and that´s what the film is, but it´s also an interesting and touching movie.
Michael Persbrandt is great. Above all, I was fascinated by the talented child actors. At the end my whole body hurt! The film asks a lot of questions but doesn´t give you an answer. You have to think by yourself, and that´s what makes a good movie.
