Surprised the critics weren't as full of praise. I thought the movie was careful and coy enough to keep you guessing the back story. The visual was fabulous, with striking shots of African villages and landscape set against a starkly blue and wild atmosphere.
At the center of this movie is revenge and turning another cheek. The parallels they draw are fantastic. Definitely a movie to watch, a director to follow.
