Review of Impromptu (1991) by Kelsey M — 20 Aug 2007
One of Hugh Grant's lesser known films, and I tell you there's a reason for that. I think that Mr. Grant really failed to deliver in this one. The writing was clever enough, but the plot was not captivating enough for me.
Judy Davis did a stunning job as the trouser-sporting George Sand, however, despite the star-studded cast (Bernadette Peters, Emma Watson, Hugh Grant, Judy Davis), the film left me very unenthusiastic.
