Review of Imperium (2016) by Thegodfatherson — 26 Aug 2016
A movie that leaves viewers with a strong, taut experience that they absolutely cannot erase from their minds. Imperium is many things. It tells a surprisingly terrifying story about nazi extremists and how an undercover FBI agent tries to destroy their root.
Daniel Radcliffe is excellent, and delivers his best performance in years. The only problem I have is, it's too slow. It drags a bit through the middle, and misuses its runtime with slow burn set pieces such as poorly shot gunfights and extra long talking sequences.
Other than that, Imperium is a terrifying film, and deserves to be watched by all audience.
