Review of Immortals (2011) by Michael C — 21 Jun 2012
Without a doubt the most elegant, artistic depiction of the Greek pantheon ever put to a camera. Tarsem Singh is a visionary - a shame the first two acts are just rather short of the Lord of the Rings brilliance to which they aspire - but the last 30 minutes is a culmination of high intensity - at LAST, the Greek Gods versus the Titans: no mercy, no quarter.
If only the film focused on them over the shoddily-written mortals.
