Review of Immortals (2011) by Conan 3 — 05 Jul 2012
This movie is disappointing. The fantastic Greek myths of Theseus, the Minotaur, the Gods vs the Titans should have produced a great story. Unfortunately this movie is stylish, disjointed, and frankly boring even to an action fan who knows and enjoys Greek mythology.
Immortals is no where near the gripping movies/epics such as 300 or Troy. It has action and blood aplenty but a coherent story line is sorely lacking. One bloody set piece after another with weak connections.
No humour or mythos. Viewing it once is too much.
