Why is that these Blockbuster movies are lacking so much in the storytelling department? They rely on heavy CGI work and just expect the audiences to drool over the visual aspects of the film. We, the audience, needs to urge these studios to push harder in good ol' fashioned storytelling.
A good story will most likely produce a good film. I have seen it way too much in films recently and they are lacking in character development, overall story structure, and too heavy on post production phony tricks.
