Review of Immortals (2011) by Mark K — 04 May 2013
It's very messy, and gory, with a weak to non existent plot. The acting was nothing to write home about, and the mythology is just an excuse to do another stylized blood fest movie. Really, Titans are knuckle walkers? The Epirus bow, made out to be so damn important was very unimpressive.
And the importance of keeping the Titans imprisoned was kind of lost to me, or perhaps I've just completely lost interest in keeping up at that point. The last battle was also pretty weak. I really can't be bother with Theseus, or the Minotaur that's not a Minotaur, oh, by the way, was he even in Crete?
