Been there, done that. Cavill is boring, Pinto is nice to look at, and Rourke is the only half-way interesting character in the entire film. Visually the film is a success. There are some stunning shots and special effects here, but that's about it.
The story has a lackluster, old-hat, hand-me-down feeling to it, and I couldn't help but compare this film to 300. Although 300 was more flashy and charismatic, I think Immortals could use a good dose of that mentality.
