Even if I expected a copy of 300 I was even a bit surprised of the brutality of the violence here. But it worked in this context and the action scenes were well done. I think this movie delivers pretty much what you'd expect.
It's not as good as 300 but still worth watching. It's not a great plot you expect when you put this on your blu-ray player but lots of dead bodies and cool fights and that's what you'll get.
