Review of Immortal Beloved (1994) by Chenel J — 26 May 2007
Much superior to its movie cousin, Amadeus, Immortal Beloved does an admirable job of weaving the music of Beethoven into a true life fabric. Although scenes depicting Beethoven as a child grind the movie to a halt, the timeless music and deft imagining of his life is the greatest ode to the life of this tortured genius.
