Review of Imitation of Life (1959) by Ginger V — 02 Jan 2008
There are some movies that are so emotionally cathartic that you only have to catch ten minutes to get the full emotional impact. This is one of those movies. The final ten minutes of this film will rip your guts out and trample them under the parade of majestic horses included in the powerful climax of this melodramatic masterpiece.
I definitely rate this sobfest a solid five hanky weeper.
