Review of Imitation of Life (1959) by Paul D — 05 Mar 2009
A strong Hollywood melodrama with a lot of in-your-face themes surrounding the characters. Sadly it is made conventionally which detracts a little from these themes, however the musical score that accompanies a lot of the scenes is perfectly composed to the highs and lows of the drama and is a delight.
