Review of Imitation of Life (1934) by Adam B — 06 Jan 2008
Wonderful and somewhat forgotten early version of a moving racial drama that was turned into a glossy Lana Turner-film in the 50es. Claudette Colbert gives one of her best performances and Louise Beavers delivers the performance of her life.
