Review of IMAX Hubble (2010) by Lindsey A — 26 Mar 2010
This short (45 min.) documentary was absolutely powerful. I'm not always on the 3D train, but in a real IMAX theater, the 3D space experience literally brought me to tears more than once at both the intense vastness and intricacy of nature, but also mankind's triumphs in interacting with our universe so far. Absolutely awesome.
Can't wait til it comes out on DVD, but go see it while it's in IMAX so you can soar through space with some of the most intelligent and courageous people you'll ever find, the NASA astronauts aboard Shuttle Atlantis.
On another note, I don't get people's weird reactions to Leonardo DiCaprio narrating this. If I didn't already know it was him, I wouldn't even have noticed. He did a fine job.
