Review of IMAX Hubble (2010) by Byron B — 28 Mar 2010
Expresses the same sentiment as Carl Sagan's Pale Blue Dot ultimately and I love that. I wish the film was longer than 45 minutes. And I wish more images from deep space captured by Hubble had been included.
Instead this mainly consisted of observing the austronauts' repair mission, which was interesting enough. This was not a 3D movie with the glasses. There was just the effect of traveling through space based on the images and analysis of Hubble's instruments.
The view inside Orion's Nebula was particularly AMAZING!
