Eddie Murphy isn't who he was in the 90's and several of his recent movies have flopped. I liked him in this role and felt a more serious role worked for him. The movie is indeed adorable and really questions parenting today.
It is a film both modern day parents and children can relate to today. Great theme of moral integrity. A good family film.
