Review of Imagine That (2009) by Pontus S — 08 Jan 2010
To start, I have to say that this movie is the ideal family film. Eddie Murphy is one of the funniest actors of our current time and he's equally as funny in "Imagine That." In the film, Eddie Murphy plays Evan, a successful financial executive and a less successful single father.
The week his daughter comes to stay while her mom is away, Evan's career begins to go down the drain, and on top of that, a co-worker (Thomas Haden Church) begins to battle him for a higher position job.
Evan soon learns that by spending time with his daughter, he will find his solution. So, I enjoyed the movie. It was funny, but more in the family film genre. The cast is decent and the plot is original It's far from Oscar material, but it's a nice movie, very nice.
