I can say with a pretty good amount of certainty that this is not a movie the whole family would love, regardless of its being advertised that way. It's certainly clean enough for small children, but the subject matter is not something that would interest them.

This is really geared toward parents of young children, in my opinion. It's also much better than I expected it to be. The dynamic between Eddie Murphy and Yara Shahidi is very believable and this is one of the first roles I've seen Eddie Murphy in that I actually liked.

Usually he annoys me to no end. This is a great movie, just not one you should go for if you're looking for something to entertain the kids with.
