Review of Imagine Me & You (2006) by Robert T — 10 Jan 2008

A delightful British comedy with a twist! The film was amusing, but not as funny as I thought it would be. Though, there were some dramatic scenes, and I mean, what comedy films these days doesn't include a dramatic sequence, but I was looking for more of the witty and charming British humor over the boring drama.

The concept of the film revolving around a lesbian relationship was pretty was fun, but kind of weird, too (in a good way). Honestly, I saw no chemistry between the two lovers. Probably it was the actresses, or even the script, but I was dozing off a couple of times during the film, and the story and plot were just slow to develop.

But overall, a little cute British comedy that could had been more funny and engaging.
