Review of Imagine Me & You (2006) by Giffy G — 02 Aug 2008
This moive would've made a really good book. I hope it was a book first, because this is an internal work. The struggle the characters go through was all in their thoughts and perceptions of themselves, so unless we bring back the soliloquy, it's really hard to get the full plot in anything but a novel format.
The movie did an admirable job at this, doing things such as have people explaining their reasoning behind buying specific types of flowers, and the shouting. The acting was all below the surface, which is hit and miss.
The camerawork was your average romantic comedy flick. It was neither startling nor groundbreaking, and I wish I'd read it as a book instead.
